I recently stayed at a stunning property that exceeded all my expectations! The Bolt Hole in a rural location provided the perfect escape from busy city life. The accommodation was comfortable, secluded, and private, with a beautiful view of the countryside and cows grazing in the field. The hosts were extremely helpful and made me feel very welcome, providing great suggestions for things to do in the area. The BBQ facilities were brand new and equipped with everything I needed. The cabin had a cozy feel with a wood stove, and the separate wet-room shower and toilet had plenty of hot water. I enjoyed the welcome pack with local biscuits, a bottle of wine, fresh free-range eggs, and other essentials. The fenced garden made it very dog-friendly, which was a big plus. The location was also convenient for exploring the north coastline and visiting places like Padstow. I had a fantastic experience at The Bolt Hole and would highly recommend it as a peaceful and comfortable getaway.

Our stay at the Bolt Hole was such great value for money. The cabin was cozy and comfortable, and the hosts were incredibly friendly and welcoming. The location of the hotel is perfect, surrounded by beautiful fields and just a short drive away from both beaches and Padstow.
One small thing that could have made the breakfast even better would be more variety in the choices available.

Located in a great spot, close to various beautiful bays and towns. The cabin itself was cozy and offered stunning views of the countryside. It was well-equipped and had a warm and inviting atmosphere. We enjoyed spending quality time together in the cabin, appreciating the peace and quiet. The log fire added a nice touch, and the lighting features were lovely. The fact that it was dog-friendly was a plus, with enough space for our furry friend. The complimentary bottle of wine was a nice surprise, and overall, we had a wonderful experience.
Although it was generally a positive experience, there were a few downsides to note. there were quite a lot of moths in the accommodation, which made it a bit challenging to sleep peacefully.

The location of this place is great! It's close to various beaches and towns, making it convenient to explore different areas. The cabin itself was warm and cozy, with beautiful views of the countryside. The peacefulness and tranquility allowed us to really enjoy each other's company and escape from the hustle and bustle of the real world. The log fire and lighting features added a nice touch to the ambiance. It was also dog-friendly, which was a plus for us. The room was surprisingly spacious and had space below the bed for our dog's crate. The complimentary bottle of wine was a nice touch and much appreciated.
The cabin had some drawbacks. The storage space was limited as there was only under-bed storage and no clothes hanging facility.

The Bolt Hole was worth every penny with its attention to detail and exceptional comfort. The location was perfect, tucked away enough to enjoy peace and tranquility, yet close to Padstow and essential amenities. The hosts, Leah and Paul, were friendly, welcoming, and always available for any help or questions.
Hotel breakfast could use some improvement, maybe by offering a wider variety of options.

I recently spent my Christmas holiday at a delightful little cabin nestled in the heart of beautiful countryside. the cabin offered stunning views and a warm and cozy atmosphere, perfect for spending quality time with loved ones. We particularly loved the log fire and charming lighting features that added a touch of romance to our stay. Another advantage was that the cabin was dog-friendly, with plenty of space for our furry friend. It was also larger than it appeared, providing ample room for relaxation. Plus, we were pleasantly surprised to find a complimentary bottle of wine waiting for us upon arrival.
there were quite a number of moths in the cabin, which made sleeping a bit of a challenge. the shower and toilet were located in a separate building, which was fine in fair weather but proved difficult to access during rainstorms due to a gap in the roof overhang.
